I lost my father, Dr. James Townsend Myers, 8 years ago. His passing left a hole in my heart, and the impact he had on my life still drives me every day. My dad was more than a professor, an author, and a veteran. He was a beacon of kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support. The lessons he instilled in me, both personally and professionally, continue to guide me and my journey. One of my proudest memories will always be when he told me I saved his life. His love and legacy are woven in everything I do. In honor of Father’s Day, I celebrate the strength and resilience he showed, and I honor him by continuing to help others in the same selfless way he did.  I love you dad.
