[EDIT: fully funded in 23 minutes! link updated to help other dogs in need.] This is Sonny. He was left outside a shelter along with his three siblings. A full examination revealed all four had suffered varying levels of neglect, but Sonny’s case is the most critical. One of his paws is swollen and infected. It’s suspected that something was tied tightly around his leg, and it became embedded in his skin as he grew, causing an infection. He needs emergency surgery to amputate the affected leg in order to prevent the infection from spreading further, as well as some additional care for an upper respiratory infection.
