After spending 10+ years working in the hospital, I always dreamed of something slower—something closer to home. I used to spend my days caring for others while aching to be with my own family. And now… this. Working side by side with my kids, building something together, and folding them into the heart of what I do—this is everything I hoped for. Our whole family is part of Little Tallow Co. Whether it’s cutting soap, labeling balm jars, or just keeping me company while I pour, we do this together. It’s messy sometimes, but it’s also incredibly beautiful. It’s brought us closer in ways I never expected. The little guy in this video is actually the reason we started this whole business. Years ago, we were desperate to find something that would help soothe his chronic eczema. Nothing worked until we made our first tallow balm right in our kitchen. The results were almost immediate—and I knew we had to share it with other families who were struggling just like we were. He was the inspiration behind it all. And now he’s able to help me make the very products that came out of that season of trial. Watching him join in, learn, and grow alongside me is something I’ll never take for granted. My hope is that my kids will learn valuable skills through this business—but more than that, I hope they feel the love and intention in everything we do. This is what a small family business means to us. It’s not just about making and selling products—it’s about growing something meaningful together, right here at home.
