With Mother’s Day around the corner, we’re celebrating the love, legacy, and little moments passed down in the kitchen. This family-favorite cake recipe is one for the books and one we’ll keep baking for years to come. Ingredients:     •    1 ½ cups all-purpose flour     •    1 cup sugar     •    ¼ cup cocoa powder     •    1 tsp baking soda     •    ½ tsp salt     •    1 tsp vanilla extract     •    1 tsp vinegar     •    ⅓ cup vegetable oil     •    1 cup cold water Instructions:     1    Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8x8” pan.     2    Mix dry ingredients in the pan.     3    Make 3 holes: pour vanilla, vinegar, and oil in each.     4    Pour water over everything and mix until smooth.     5    Bake 30–35 min, or until a toothpick comes out clean.     6    Cool, slice, enjoy! (Optional: dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with glaze.)
