Size is everything Any artwork should always be 2/3 the size of the furniture it is styled with or upon. 2. Stick to a Cohesive Colour Palette To avoid visual clutter, choose artwork that shares complementary colours or a consistent theme. 3. To lean or not to lean For a traditional approach hang your artwork on your wall, leaving a slight gap between the frame and furniture.
